We may put in the long hours, but very few of us ever really do any physical, year in/year out labor.
Now it’s a major crisis when the remote goes on the blink and we actually have to walk over to the TV.
It’s even got to the point where thoughtful TV manufacturers have removed all the buttons – if the remote caks, don’t bother getting up because you can’t do anything anyway. Safety first!
No need to risk an infarction by standing up – we should just sit here and continue drooling until a teenager or St Bernard comes along with batteries…
